Prague - eating out

Eating cheap

Food is not the strong point of Prague. Often it is more advisable to go to supermarkets and buy your own stuff. On Wenceslas Square there are places where you can buy sausages and fried cheese, both Czech specialities, for little money. Everywhere in the city you can find cheap Chinese food.

If you want to go to a restaurant, avoid places in the Old Town or in Mala Strana, since they tend to be very expensive. The areas of Zizkov and Vinohrady have some typical restaurants that are good and cheap.
